HTC’s forthcoming Android-powered smartphone - known as the G1, and Dream, is to be sold on T-Mobile in the US, for $199, on a two-year contract.. The Dream/G1 is to be shown off at a press event, held in New York City, held on the 23rd of this month.

Also, in somewhat of a surpring move - what with some handsets normally being delayed by a week, or two, the Dream/G1 is to actually be launched earlier than expected. It was initially set to launch on October 20th, but it’s suggested to now launch on the 17th instead. Granted, three days isn’t a lot, but three days is three days, at the end of it.
